Wherever you reside, a Teach Again Programme Coordinator will be available to support your return to teaching or access the Teach Again School Experience Programme. All our coordinators have been fully vetted and are either experienced education managers, or former participants of the Teach Again programme with first-hand experience to share with you. Kay is an experienced education and skills manager and adviser with over 23 years of experience in her field. Founder and Director of Teach Again Ltd, and driven to support teachers to return to teaching, she provides a national service to Teach Again and School Experience Programme applicants.

Sheree Matthews

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, North East England

Sheree is an experienced Teach Again Programme completer who successfully progressed in to employment at her placement school. As an advocate of the programme she is delighted to be able to support and share her experience with applicants in the North East of England.

Vicky McKinnon

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, North West England

Vicky is a part-time secondary PE teacher with leadership responsibilities and so is fully familiar with the ins and outs of education! Resident in Cheshire, she is able to support Teach Again applicants across Cheshire, Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside.

Duncan Thomas

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Scotland and Northern England

Duncan has extensive experience within the education sector as a leader and senior manager. He has a proven track record at both national and local level and provides a service to Teach Again applicants resident in Scotland and the Borders.

Anne is an experienced education manager of 21 years, with additional experience in training, inducting and mentoring staff. She is delighted to be able to support Teach Again programme applicants across South Yorkshire and surrounding counties.

Bradley Allan

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, West Yorkshire

Bradley has considerable experience in the education sector and a proven record of supporting, coaching, mentoring and training staff. He is resident in West Yorkshire and is able to support applicants within this locality.

Sarah Gorbutt

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, SE London and Kent. Sarah is a recently retired Head Teacher and a highly experienced education and skills professional who as a newly appointed Head moved her school from RI to Outstanding within 4 years. She is committed to staff development and happy to support applicants in London.

Helena Millard

Teach Again Programme Coordinator,  Kent, Surrey, Essex Helena is an experienced teacher of 23 years. Having had a short break herself whilst raising children, and changing both sector and age ranges, she realises the importance of having a good support network to facilitate a positive outcome for returning teachers. She is happy to support Teach Again applicants located in the South East of England.

From her work as a school improvement consultant/advisor, a school subject leader and a teacher trainer, Andrea applies a sound understanding of the perspectives, concerns and needs of both programme applicants and schools, She is happy to support applicants across Eastern England and nationally in her post as programme manager.

Christianne Butler

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, South West England Christianne is a returning teacher with experience as a participant on the Teach Again programme. Local to Gloucestershire, she supports Teach Again applicants resident in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.

Marlene Douglas

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, South London Marlene has worked within education for over 18 years across voluntary, community, public and the private sector. Much of her work has included training and developing volunteers, youth workers, mentors and tutors, and so she is well placed and delighted to support Teach again applicants in South London.

SOUTH East and West ENGLAND

Mark Shaw

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Devon and Cornwall Mark is a former Head Teacher of 15 years with 33 years experience in the field of primary education. He is passionate about supporting staff development and has had the pleasure of working with many teachers, seeing them prosper and develop their careers. He is therefore delighted to join the Teach Again team and support applicants throughout Devon and Cornwall.

Helen Penney

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Devon As an educationalist and a former Chair of Governors, Helen recognises the valuable contribution that a teacher makes and that it is teachers who are the most valuable resource in any school. She is therefore committed to supporting Teach Again applicants in Devon and the surrounding localities.

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Dorset         

Mark is an experienced Head Teacher, Principal, Director and Chief Executive of an Academy and Trust, with his own education consultancy company. He is therefore perfectly qualified to manage our programme in addition to mentoring and supporting Teach Again applicants across Dorset and surrounding counties.

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Dorset Frances is an experienced educator with a firm understanding of schools and is delighted to be in a position to support Teach Again Ltd teachers and aspiring school staff across Dorset and nearby counties.

Steve Nelmes

Teach Again Programme Coordinator, Sussex Steve is a former Head Teacher and is passionate about improving people’s life chances. He approached us directly with a request to work for Teach Again and we are very happy to have him on board to support Teach Again applicants in Sussex and neighbouring counties.
